Windows Implementation of apples spaces

Is there one? I am running windows 7 pro if that helps. I cant find one that I like. Thanks!

Spaces are what Apple calls virtual desktops or machines. Yes - Win 7 Pro will let you set up such a virtual machine to run XP or some other OS.

I've never found a virtual desktop app for Windows that worked as well as they do in Linux.

I wouldn't equate virtual desktops with virtual machines.

Apple's Spaces are definitely virtual desktops (and I agree with Nothinman that I haven't found a nice, seamless, well-integrated manager for this functionality on Windows).

Windows XP mode is definitely a Virtual Machine.

Two entirely different things.
