ive been looking for the windows ide drivers. where can i find them so i can install them over this nvidia ide drivers pos.
 
Just uninstall the Nvidia IDE drivers via Control Panel and Windows will default to its own IDE drivers. If you don't have the option to just uninstall the Nvidia IDE drivers, uninstall all Nvidia drivers and reinstall all except the IDE.

Make sure that after your uninstallation (and before any reinstallation), you use Driver Cleaner PE to remove any traces of the old drivers from your system.
