Windows Home Server

Hi all,

Does WHS support Win 2k? I have tried installing the connection package on a win 2k client and it say that this does not appear to be a win32 program.

Any comments would be appreciated.

If you're running a DC farm why not use a lightweight network bootable Linux distro? Then you only need to backup the server.

(I think.)

Really, how hard would it have been to support W2K, if XP is supported. They are virtually the same in terms of what those OSes can support.

Edit: Good point Stash, forgot about VSS.

I can think of at least one major hurdle: No VSS support in Windows 2000. Which means no backups, one of the key features of WHS.
