What do you mean they have problems with them? Can you explain your problem in a little more detail. It was kind of vague.

Okay, if I read your problem correctly, it would seem that the reason you have a problem with your SCSI device is the IDE devicedoesn't see it? Umm...it shouldn't. They are two different types of technology!

Please provide more info on exactly what you mean. I'm comfident someone here can help you, but you need to give us more details. Does the BIOS see the devices? What O/S? Give system specs and we'll see what we can tell you.

ok...disconnect the CDR drive and remove the SCSI card...delete all the IDE controllers ...reboot allow to reinstall those drivers...do you have a driver CD or disk for the SCSI card?..not sure if WinMe has basic drivers or not as you did not specify which SCSI card(maufacturer that is) but after sucessfully getting the IDE controllers to function(check DVDRom drive functionality) then shutdown and add in the SCSI card. Installing one thing at a time usually allows you to isolate what the problem is.<edit> spelling..typing sux..lol

Could you give us the error messages (If you click on the Controller under Device Manager, and then hit properties, it will show you inside the properties any errors it is having with the device). Also, Inside of the properties, you can update the drivers, if they are incorrect (Which is a good possiblity)

in device manager is your scsi card listed? does it have a ! next to it? at any rate you should install the lates via 4 in 1's (4.37) available here
this might also help you with your ide problem. make sure you have the latest drivers for your scsi card as well.

which version? and by no sucess you mean that it didn't help the problem not that it didn't install correct? I believe scsi chains have to be terminated as well, is yours terminated? try that ide driver that I linked up and see if that helps one of your problems. Since the scsi card has a problem what does it say? that is is conflicting with another device? try moving it to another pci slot (try to avoid slots 4 and 6 as those share irq's with usb, and will open up a whole new set of problems lol) also try the latest drivers for the scsi card.
