hey guys I have a question

I have this laptop that I'm trying to reformat (spyware). I have the recovery disc and inserted it in, pressed F12, chose boot from CD/DVD. It then asked if I was sure and I hit F1. But then I got a message saying Wrong Machine... I checked the CD and it said for M30/M35X series, and checked underneath my laptop and it is a M35x-S309 model. So why am I getting this "Wrong Machine" message?
