Windows..Freezing Ha!

Well Yeah, I happened to be testing a soundcard for my a friend of my..and it works so i unininstalled the card, and enabled the onbard sound for my system..

From there on, Everytime i try to go into my computer, it will be stuck on the searching screen

My Computer Specs

AMD 64 x2 3800+
1024Mb Ram
Sapphire X800GT

And some other windows programs, such as ie, or even paint loads very sluggish, slow

Any Ideas why? Thanks
 
Check Device Manager and make sure all drivers are installed properly. Reset the BIOS to its default settings to make sure you didn't change anything besides the sound.

Also make sure the drivers for the old soundcard have been removed.
