Windows file list question

There is no software 'help' forum, so this is the closest. What is the best way to get a list of all files with a specific date on a drive? Something better than a list of all files and sorting?

I'm asking because I'm once again trying to free a little space and figure out what can be deleted and am trying to figure out what a '.pff' file is part of.

before you do that, have you deleted all but the latest System Restore save points? If not, that in itself can eat up a ton of HD space...

To address the beginning of the post, since this a question related to Windows, and software in Windows, there actually IS a forum for it. It's under Software, and labeled Software for Windows. 🙂

To answer the main question. click on the Windows Start button, then click Search. Choose to search for all files and folders, then choose the option "when was it modified". Select the specific date you want, then click the Search button.

.PFF files are used by the program Formatta Filler.
