Windows explorer won't remember details ???

Man that's annoying when win explorer opens folders with the large icon view. I know there is a way to change this to details. I just can't remember how to do it. I'm running ME instead of 98 what am I missing?

Can anybody help me with this.

Well, Win98 and Xp is View and Refresh, then Tools, Folder Options, and Apply to All Folders. Hopefully this will help you figure it out for ME.
