Windows Explorer won't auto load on flash drive

There is a Windows feature that doesn't work anymore on my Windows XP Pro machine. Normally when you plug in a USB flash drive or a flash memory card into the card reader, Windows will pop up Windows Explorer on that drive. If there are pictures on the card, it will give you a menu of programs to load. This has stopped working on my computer. I can still access the USB drive or flash card, it's just that Windows doesn't pop up Explorer or that menu like it used to upon insertion. I'm guessing there's a line in the registry that can be fixed to make this work again. Anybody have any ideas?

You might've selected the option to "Take no Action" when you insert that device. Try it on a different USB port, or maybe reinstall your USB drivers after removing them from Device Manager.

Double-click on "My Computer", right-click on the device in question, choose Properties, and go to the AutoPlay tab.

The Options that joshharrington mentioned are right there.

I don't think the Autoplay was the problem. A couple of days after I left my first message (and before I checked back in the Forum), the problem fixed itself. But Thanks, anyway.
