I have a dual boot system (win2kpro and winxp pro) and I've been running XP since about november but around the end of february i decided to use my win2k OS.... anyway...
I just started using my XP again and I realized that for whatever reason, explorer no longer makes clicking noises when you push the back button or forward button or any button for that matter.. the only way i can get sound is by setting the sound options... but when i reboot, the sound is gone again..
another thing i noticed is that the status bar that shows up at the bottom of the window no longer shows up whenever i open up a new window after a window has already been opened up using explorer. when i try to access a shortcut folder on my desktop, the status bar doesn't show up...
i know it's not a big deal or problem but i was wondering if anyone knew how to resolve this problem...
thanks!
