I'm on WinXP, and I recently noticed that one of my folders that contain many files and sub-folders(1000s) has a problem with the displaying of the folders/files when I choose view->list. The folders/files are displayed, but the columns spaced out very far, which makes viewing kinda difficult. This happens in other windows where explorer is called(I think), including when the save image as window in Firefox.
I thought it might be a problem with too many files in the folder since this didn't happen with other smaller folders, and so I made another temp subfolder and dragged hundreds of files over, and sure enough the columns are now spaced nearer from one another, but I couldn't find the exact number of files that is the threshold of this problem; it seems to vary.
Does anyone know what's going on? Thanks!
