windows explorer crashes often in win7 64 bit pro

Hi All. I ran the RC just fine for several months, but am now running 64 bit Win 7 Pro and often have windows explorer crashes when I try to rename a file, change icon properties, the usual stuff that was never an issue before. There is no info on this at the MS site - in fact their email to me directed me to a site that did not even include W7! (No issues with IE - though I almost never use it - just windows explorer.)

Anyone else having such events?

Asus P5Q Deluxe, 8600, 4 GB mem, Velociraptor, Radeon 5850, Antec 550W PSU.
