Windows Explorer button spacing - weird and annoying problem

I've had this problem on both XP and 2K and it's bloody annoying.

I've got my Explorer standard-button toolbar setup how I like it:

If I now add the 'Folder Properties' button, I get the following result:

You see how all the buttons suddenly spread out? This ONLY happens with the Folder Properties button. Adding any other button doesn't make the spacing change.

Anyone know of a fix for this?

I would think that as long as you insist on viewing the icon labels, this is the view that you are stuck with. Folder Properties is just too long.

Just one more brain-dead stupidity to add to XP's list, I guess. Peculiarly the bar gets smaller, and drops the text on Folder Properties when I select text on right.
