Can someone please tell me what this error means?

File Name: VMM(01) + 0000DC99 Error: 0E : 00028 : C000EC99

I'm having this blue screen warning message frequently. I'm using WindowsME. Is this a bug? I don't know what to do. Please Help!!!

Don't expect to get anything from MS error report message. Some chances with w2k report service, that's all.

Sorry, blame Bill.

Yes...when does it occur, after a certain program, during a certain program?

Have you always had the error message?

If not, when did it start and have you added any programs or hardware to the system recently?

Have you always been using ME?

Is it a clean install or an upgrade of a previous operating system?

I have heard very bad things about ME...

Make sure you do all the patches from windows update. Check your device manager and look for conflicts. If that don't work think about what u are doing when this happens and when it started to happen(after something you installed, changed, etc.). If all that fails read someone elses post 😀 If that fails format C: and let the fun begin. Consider 2000.
