Windows DVD Maker- CPU Usage

I have some old videos from a while back, among other things that I would like to burn to DVD-Rs using DVD maker. Don't get me wrong it works, and works great! But the CPU usage never goes above 80% consistently, with all the codec packs necessary to work properly. It is not accessing the disk, so I cannot understand why it isn't using 100% of the CPU, which I would imagine would encode faster. The CPU is an Intel Core 2 Duo E7300 oc'ed to 3Ghz. Any advice or thoughts are appreciated!

After a clean install of windows I starting deleting what I don't need. The shortcut to Windows DVD Maker is one of the first things to go.

I've only used it once, but I recall it using all 4 cores to their full potential.

You are aware that deleting the shortcut does not rid yourself of the program?

Of course, I go to "Programs and Features/Turn Windows features on or off" to remove the program....I guess that would be one of the second things I do (Win7).
