windows dont see my two hard drives

my dad and i bulit a computer and we put in a 120 gig & 80 gig western dig hard drives and our bios see's both of them and so does windows when i go into device manager but when i go to my computer it see's the c drive but when i right click it only see the c drive as 31 gigs with 18 being used. i know for a fact that i dont have that 18 gigs cant be used because it been just bulit i checked 90 times they are jumpered right i was wondering if a ata contorller card would fix this or a free or cheap program that any may know about.

First, make sure you have service pack 1 installed. Next, go to disk administrator to find your lost disk space, you have to format new drives for them to work. Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Computer Management->Disk Management
