windows doesnt see hd?

right now im buildin my first comp
i put the hd in my current comp to copy my operatin sys and some files
when the bios loads it detects the drive but when i get in windows it doesnt show it n e where what should i do???

Put a file system on the drive?

If it's a brand new drive, you might have to format it first.
