Ok so I just put together my Shuttle ST20G5 and windows does not detect my DVDRW. I started the Windows install with the hard drive and the DVDRW on the IDE cable and windows detected it fine. Since I have two harddrives (both PATA) I decided to put both of the hard drives on the IDE cable and I bought a IDE to SATA adapter for the DVDRW. The bios detects the drive and it even auto boots from the drive but it does not show in Windows. I am using the Syba SATA to IDE Dongle which does not require any drivers and my SATA drivers for the mobo are installed. Do I have to format and start over? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
