Windows Deployment Services & Server 2003

Is there a way to deployed Windows Server 2003 using Windows Deployment Services that is installed on Server 2008? The test server I want to deploy Server 2003 to has a busted CD-ROM drive. I just wanted to see if it possible to deploy it with Windows deployment services. I know you can do it with server 2008 and windows vista since they have the boot.wmi and install.wmi
