Windows clock turned back today

When I turned on my computers on Thanksgiving, both my desktop and laptop, I noticed that the clock had been turned back 1 hour. I can't understand why. The date was set correctly for Nov 26, 2009. I could see if it was a glitch on one computer, but on both??

Did anyone else get this same thing?

Could it be an errant implementation of DST? Check your clock settings.

i had the same thing happen a week before the DST change, on a computer that had automatic updates turned off.

It is a bug. MS has released an update for it.

http://support.microsoft.com/KB/976098
The update that this article describes changes the time zone data to accommodate daylight saving time (DST) changes in several countries, as outlined in this article. This update also includes other DST-related changes, time zone-related changes, and settings-related changes. Some of these changes have occurred since the products that are listed in the "Applies to" section were originally released.
