Windows CE .cab files wont install

Hi, I have an Augen E go netbook (i know, not the best thing around, but it's not my primary) and it fails to install .cab files. it runs Windows CE 5.0 and whenever running the .cab file, it "cant find 'file.cab'"
Any help would be appreciated. I'm not too worrie about it, just trying to get a .mobi reader on this netbook so that is is useful for something.
