Ever since a few days ago, after I boot up my machine and enter WinXP, while WinXP is loading up the desktop, I hear the windows "Chords" wav file and when the desktop shows up there's a prompt saying:

Windows cannot find 'C:\WINDOWS\mgs.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click search.

Everything loads up normally after pressing OK or cancelling that window out. Anyone know what this is or how to fix it? Thanks! I notice alot of people posting "Hijackthis" logs. Not sure what that is or how to get it...

There is no such file on any of my systems. Sounds like you better run a good up-to-date AV scan. Looks like you have this worm: (W32.SDBot)
mgs.exe

Were you ever able to remove this error message from your PC. If so, how did you remove it as I have the same error on my PC. Thanks for your help.
