yeah i thought about that right after i posted the thread...It's just that when i got my laptop it was already installed so i'm not sure what to do

Buy a copy for your desktop.

It sounds like you tried to install an OEM version onto hardware that it doesn't recognize.

Or you could just hit the "close" button and not worry about it.

Edit: Wait I think I am supposed to say "buy another copy" to comply with forum rules. Soooo ya, buy another copy, or hit click close...those are the 2 choices...you choose.
