Hello.

I have an issue, shipped my desktop to another town and got set up. Now when i boot up my pc, there is no signal and screen is black (no bios or anything). I can hear it boot up to the windows sound where u can login.
I tried 2 diff screens and a tv but no luck.
Opened up the case and everything is running.
Could it be the gpu or sdd that is broken now?

Specs
ASUS Z97-A - ATX / Z97
Intel Core i5-4690K
Noctua CPU-Kylare NH-D14
Sapphire R9 290 4GB TRI-X OC

HyperX FURY Black Series 16GB (2x8GB) / 1866MHz / DDR3

Samsung 840 EVO Series 250GB

Please help me find out what is wrong.

Yeah, unplug it from the wall, unseat and re-seat the video card, and the RAM. Then plug it back in and try it.

If the video card is a big, heavy one, and the trip was rough, then it's possible that it could have damaged the x16 PCI-E slot on the mobo. If it has two, try the other one, if the re-seating didn't work.

Thanks alot for the help!
It seems the pci-e slot was damaged. Moved to another slot and it works now!

Well, I'm sorry to hear that your primary PCI-E slot may be damaged, but I'm glad that you got it working.

Some of the newest motherboards, have a stainless steel shell around the big PCI-E slots, primarily for this reason.
