This problem involves so much stuff I'm not sure where to post this, but figure this is a good place to start.
I initially had XP and Ubuntu installed on a HDD. When the Win7 RC became available I installed that to another HDD connected over eSATA, which installed the Windows boot manager and would give me the choice of either Windows 7 or Earlier version of Windows (XP). This worked fine until I got my SSD. Now I have the Win7 RC and Ubuntu installed on the SSD, but the GRUB entry for XP still brings up the Windows boot loader, and if I select "earlier version of Windows" the system just reboots. Using Super Grub Disk to try and boot XP has the same problem, and using EasyBCD to try and edit the Windows boot loader from both the Win7 installation on the SSD and the HDD over eSATA both say that the only entry is Windows 7. So how do I get access back to boot my XP install?
