Is there any program similar to Windows Blinds?

I've tried WB before, but after I installed, my taskbar missing and finally I need to reinstall windows...so I don't want to use WB again.

However, my windows 2000 looks really ugly so I want to use some program to make it looks more better.

Can anyone give me some good suggestions? (except install WinXP) thanks in advance!

Sorry, only two I know of are Windows Blinds and StyleXP. And personally I found Windows Blinds to be horrible. Extremely buggy and incredibly unstable.

You could try replacing your shell to something like SharpE or LiteStep. SharpE is pretty simple to get setup and looks/performs decent IMO, but LiteStep is _really_ configurable. There's lots of themes for it and you can create your own if you get adventurous enough =) However keep in mind that these free shell replacements are forever "in the making" which may be more risky than using a product you would pay for such as WB or Hoverdesk.
Hope this helps.
