Windows Auto Update - HELP - Same auto update over and over again

OK... I have this machine at work that will not stop auto updating the same Windows update over and over again. We run SUS here at work and have are clients check for updates weekly. For some reason the machine will do the same update every week and I can?t make it stop. Yes... I know I could stop the service but, I really need this computer staying up to date at all times. Any help or hints would be great.

Thanks

In Safe Mode, rename the folders Catroot and Catroot2 (in the System32 folder) and also rename the WindowsUpdate.log file in the Windows folder. Once done, clear out your IE cache (in IE settings) and lastly there is a folder called WUTemp (either on C:\ or C:\windows)

Go back into normal mode and it will still show the update. Get it then restart. You won't be prompted again. 🙂
Lemme know if it fails.
