Windows aren't visible no more after changing Dual Monitor to Single

I recently changed from Dual Monitors back to single monitors, I now realized that some of the applications I guess you can say are "saved on the other monitor" So when I open up a program, Alcohol 120%, FlashFXP, Trillian, it shows it open but no windows are visible.

I've re-installed alcohol120%, but programs like Trillian, have all my contacts/preferences, I've trayed extracting the buddy list only but it still doesn't work, the window wouldn't appear on the new install.

I'm pretty sure this is a common problem, does anyone know if there's a hotkey to "move" windows? And Yes, I did make sure dual monitors were disabled.
I'm using Windows XP, with a Radeon 9700 Pro.

Perhaps you could temporarily reattach a second monitor, move your stuff over, then put the second monitor back to where it is now?

Select the window you want with alt-tab. Then, while it has focus (but you wont see it) hit alt-space, then m Use the arrow keys to move the window from the direction it 'would' have been in relation to your current monitor.

I had this problem. The keyboard move thing didn't work for me though.

If it's not an LCD, just increase the resolution and those Windows should be at least partially visible so you can move them back over and then reduce the resolution.
