I am using mirrors in windows... :camera:
My idea was that I'd be able to use it like a Raid 1. Insurance against catastrophic failure of hard drives. Someone told me latley that windows mirrors really don't work like Raid 1 and that windows just coordinates the files and tries to keep them identical. This has me concerned because I know that my large downloads get the space roped off first and I'm wondering if windows hasn't been copying over "empty" files.
Does anyone know how to force windows to do an integrity check on these mirrors? Are there any hidden settings I can play with?
