windows vista notified yesterday that it would expire, some google searches indicated it was related to a Beta service pack installation, it had a beta sp that was installed during the beta, since the release of the official sp the beta was uninstalled and the official sp installed, could some registry key left over from the uninstall be causing the notification ?
Vista HP / oem disk from newegg, still on orig hardware.
SP 2 downloaded from MS.
MSE fully updated.
on a side note there is an update for office 2003 [kb 978474] showing up in the installed update listing that has werd charracters associated with its wording.
