Ok I have a real problem here!
When I start up windows it only shows 16 colors and says my video (device)card is not properly installed but it wont let me reinstall the drivers. So I go into device manager it it lists absolutly no devices(even in safe mode)Only thing showing is "computer".
Any ideas on how to get this thing fixed?
Thanks guys and gals.

I got fustrated and went ahead and reformatted the HD (it needed it anyway, been a while). But now it wont access the floppy?I check the bios, its seems fine, floppys there and enabled.Checked cables and removed all the PCI cards........I stuck and need help?
Here is what I have:
ECS K7S5A w/1200 athlon
512MB Crucial DDR
WD 40 Gig HD
Sound blaster live sound
Gainward 400 64 MB video
Do you think It migh the the MB?
The floppy light never comes on whern booting or putting in a disk and trying to open a file.It says "A" not ready or not available?
I tried unplugging the floppy before I reformatted(thinking it was causing the prob) to see if it help getting my drivers loaded but nothing works, not even the CD rom.

yank the sounblaster, make sure 1st boot device is the floppy, make sure you have a good boot disk(make a fresh one if you can)
i suspect you had an irq conflict but now we just need to get your system up, if you formatted, your cdrom will not work, it has no drivers now, make sure your floppy drive is good

do you have an os installed now? if not set first boot device as cd-rom create a new partition (delete the old one first) through fdisk, restart and run the windows setup program (if you need specific instructions on how to do this just post again)

I have seen a few floppy drives fail and they can cause some wierd problems when they do. Glad you found out what it was...........:)
