WHat AMD CPU. If were to assume something relatively modern, DO NOT EVEN DARE CONSIDER Windows 98 or ME on that system. I would go with Windows XP. Windows 2000 would be a good choice as well.

It would BE A HUGE MISTAKE to even consider using POS Windows 98/ME on a fast system unless you have a desperate need to run legacy applications on that fast system. Windows 2000 or XP only!! Those would be the only choices by my recommendation for any system produced in the last three years.

Windows 2K >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 98/ME

Windows XP >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 98/ME

That should sum it up. WIndows 98/ME are flat out POS compared to 2000/XP. RUnning any Microsoft OS pre Windows 2000 for modern applications on today's hardware as your primary OS would be a HUGE MISTAKE!!

Of course it's just fine. It's the bets choice out of them all. But please, you DO NOT want to choose anything other than Windows 2000/XP/2003 when it copmes to a Microsoft OS.
