Windows 98 Problem

I've been using XP for awhile now and I decided to bring back the old Windows 98. When I booted... I get this:

Verifying DMI Pool Data .............

Invalid system disk
Replace the disk, and press any key

Anybody know what the heck that means? Is the system disk the same as hard disk or... what the heck is it... how do I get back to Win 98? Or is it dead?

Thanks in advance

hmmm... from what i remember.. i think this is what's going on..

I used to get that message when I had a floppy diskett inserted when I boot my computer.

Make sure you don't have any floppy diskett inserted.

Your MOBO is prolly setup to check any boot record from floppy before they check the hard drive.

well, there's no floppy disk inserted... and i was able to check if it's checked to see boot record from floppy - it's disabled.
