Windows 98 Partition Size?

I am going to be putting in a new CPU, motherboard, and HD and I want to do it right this time. In other words I want to put Windows on its own partition. My question is, how big does the partition need to be?
thanks,
-doug

i think the smallest is about .8 gigs, however i am not exactly sure. however, theres an alternative, install windows, (check what option you install like custom, typical, compact, they are all different sizes and it will tell you how much hd space it needs).

once windows is installed, use partition magic and resize that partition to what you desire.

It depends on what you are going to do with the machine, HDD size and other variables. But I do agree with DAM that Partition Magic or Partition Commander are a must have when dealing with different partitions and OSs.

I think I'd really rather fdisk the HDs before I install anything. I think I'll give it 2 gigs just to be safe and be done with it. It is a 20gig drive and I'll also have a fast 15gig HD in there too. So I should be ok on space.
