Windows 98 or Windows XP???

Would like to know which is better in all respects, windows 98 or windows XP?. Thanks guys.

XP's better (as in more stable) than 98. The only reason to install 98 would be on an older machine (Pentium I class) with < 128 MB RAM, or if you need to run older applications that don't work under XP. Otherwise, as long as you've got at least a Pentium II with more than 128 megs of memory, go for XP.

XP is better, but I suggest 256MB of RAM to run it.

You can always dual boot. It's easy with XP.

98SE's only advantage is that it can get by on much less RAM than Win2k/XP.
