Windows 98 Icons are blurry

My 98 comp crashed and on reboot for some reason all of the icons, on the taskbar, desktop, start menu, and explorer are all blurry. Anyone know how i can fix this? It's like part of the icons are missing.

reinstall your video card driver

Before you reinstall your video drivers you could also try TweakUI out - it has the option to rebuild and repair your icons. Its a very small, free download from Microsoft.
