My wife came home with a old 333mhz celeron running 98. Her office use this thing for APR data in the real estate industry. On boot up it was missing some system 32 files etc so I dban the system and type "autonuke"

Anyways after reformat with the oridgional 98 cd with key, all is good. BUT for the life of me I forget how to make OS connect to the net.

I'm on cable here and her work is ADSL. The power house has a ethernet card and in "device manger" the card need drivers. I dont have the cd for that.

Umm what would you do please? Be nice and before you say XP! forget it.. This has a 4 gig HDD

You will need to figure out the network card and then download drivers. Then you can either burn them to cd or get them copied to a floppy.

On the page linked below, there is another link to download a universal win98 SE usb driver. If you burn this to a cd and install it to the system, then you can bring future drivers in via a memory stick
