Windows 95 with USB question

I'm putting Win95 onto my older computer and the only version of the usb update I could find was on the dell website.

Is it safe to use that update on an HP version of Win95, or is there a different version I should use?

If my memory serves me right, you need win95 osr 2.1 or above for using USB. I assume the HP version of win95 is 4.00.950B or 4.00.950C (check the properties of my computer). You should have the USB supplement file in the HP windows cd. If not, just use the Dell file.
