Windows 95 start up problem

I am having a problem booting my old 486 with windows 95.
It says starting Windows 95...........
No drive found, aborting installation
And DOS command pops up
C:\>

I dont know why this just happen
Any help would be appreciated,

The "aborting installation" part sounds worrying. Did you last try installing/re-installing Windows 95 at some point and abort?
When you get the C:> prompt type DIR and look for folder names that should be there like Windows and Program Files (or it may read Progra~1). If they are not there or DOS comes back with an error then you may have lost everything in which case you will need to re-install.

Well, I restalled Windows now it is up and going !
Works like a new one........but only better
