Thanks for the help, I was able to extract rpcrt4.dll from the win95 cab file and once I put it in the windows/system directory the error messages went away.
Now, the reason I had (foolishly) uninstalled the Windows Service Pack 1 from my OS was because I was getting some GPF errors.
The system works well enough for most of my programs and games, however I was trying to resume Final Fantasy 7 and when I select that in the programs menu, the system kicks me out of it and closes the window with an error message about Kernel32.dll.
Can I extract the original Kernel32.DLL file from the Windows 95 cab archive and replace that on my system? Will this fix the error or further compound it?
