Windows 95 Kernel32.dll Error

Thanks for the help, I was able to extract rpcrt4.dll from the win95 cab file and once I put it in the windows/system directory the error messages went away.

Now, the reason I had (foolishly) uninstalled the Windows Service Pack 1 from my OS was because I was getting some GPF errors.

The system works well enough for most of my programs and games, however I was trying to resume Final Fantasy 7 and when I select that in the programs menu, the system kicks me out of it and closes the window with an error message about Kernel32.dll.

Can I extract the original Kernel32.DLL file from the Windows 95 cab archive and replace that on my system? Will this fix the error or further compound it?

Thanks for all the great help and advice!

Can Kernel32.DLL be replaced with the original version from my original Win95 install disks - and will that help eliminate the Kernel32.DLL error messages that I have when I try to run a game that I had been able to run before I ran Service Pack 1 and then uninstalled service pack 1?
