Weird thing, I was wondering if anyone could tell me the cause and/or fix..

Booting up (several different machines) I've noticed, when windows boots, icons on screen, I get an hourglass next to my pointer for maybe 20-30 seconds (this is with my machines with SCSI drives).

Now, the machine I'm currently on, used to have an IDE drive, and this hourglass thing NEVER happened (it also doesn't happen on my laptop with IDE drive)..

Does anyone know what the difference is in windows booting and/or how to stop it from happening? [other than switching back to IDE drives of course] :)
