Windows 8 x64 Install Help - Dell Studio 1535

I have an old Studio 1535 (T9300, ATI 3450) that I'd like to install the Win8 x64 Dev preview on. During setup, before I can even choose a HD to install to, it asks for a driver.

"A required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing. If you have a driver floppy disk, CD, DVD, or USB flash drive, please insert it now"

But I have no clue which driver its needing. So I grabbed every x64 driver on Dell's support site and went through each extracted zip file, one by one, choose all of the drivers available and click Next, but it always comes back with the same error.

Is there any easier way to troubleshoot this?

Some other thoughts. The system currently has Vista 32-bit on it. Does that matter? Vista is the only supported OS by Dell (thus, all of their drivers are Vista), but I know that Win7 installs OK.

So I just tried the Win7 USB DVD Tool and when I choose the ISO it says "not a valid ISO file." I went ahead and checked the checksum, and sure enough, they don't match, so it must be an invalid download. Bizarre cause it burns and verifys fine to DVD.

Redownloading and will try again with a fresh, new USB drive.

I've been through about 3 DVD+Rs trying to get Windows 8 to install correctly. I use the iso manager via Windows 7, the burn to the disc works fine, but once I restart and try to load from a DVD-Rom drive it just hangs on the loading OS screen (load from disc drive is prioritized in bios). Once I go into W7 explorer and try to highlight the DVD-Rom drive the iso is on explorer hangs and I have to restart explorer. Am I just doing something wrong here? The discs are fine, I've isoed quite a bit and never had any issues until now.

Edit

Nevermind, it was a bad download. I got it to work.
