Windows 8 Tablets and Android Emulators...

Hello,

I am in the market for a tablet and am trying to decide between an Android or Windows 8 device. My main hangup is Android seems to have a lot more apps than Windows. I like the idea of having a full version of Windows so I am kind of leaning towards a Windows device.

So if I go the Windows route, I could run an Android emulator to get more access to apps. I am wondering if anybody has experience with Android emulators like Bluestacks on a Windows 8 tablet?

Worth the effort?

Thanks.

Bluestacks works well, but won't be able to make use of accelerometers I believe. Except for the version made specifically for the Surface. I haven't been keeping up on development though so that might have changed.

Thanks for your replies. I think the Dell Venue 8" Pro is at the top of my list right now. Adding the emulator would cover any apps that are not on Windows and still allow a full OS.
