Windows 8 Sleep issues...

Hey all,

I'm running Windows 8 Enterprise (MSDN), and I can't seem to get my PC to wake up properly.

I have the screen go blank on my PC in 15 minutes, but no mouse movement can make it come back. It's extremely annoying. That said, my mouse is hooked up to my monitor's USB ports and I have enabled the "allow wake from this device" for both my mouse and keyboard. It's not in sleep at this point, it's just got a blacked out screen.

For sleep, I can't resume with a mouse or keyboard click... it's pretty annoying.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

do you have the most recent BIOS for your motherboard?

Ironically as I rebooted to check the BIOS settings to post them, I found the issue. It was set to "OS" rather than "BIOS" -- I swapped it over to BIOS and enabled the wake on keyboard/mouse settings and boom, back in business.

Thanks :)
