Windows 8: Multiple desktops, smart sticky notes, and more

Multiple desktops on Windows is nothing new, it's been possible since NT4 maybe even NT 3.x, but it's never worked well. If they've expanded it so that it's even half as useful as them on Linux that'll be great, if it's just that they're including a tool to manage the same old implementation without fixing the issues then it's a pretty big fail on their part.

You'll always be able to store files locally, anything else is scaremonger tactics. Just think of it as dropbox integrated into Explorer *if you want to use it*
