Windows 8 & Media Center

I know you will be able to download Windows 8 on October 26th and can then also get the Media Center add-on pack for free during the promotional pricing period that runs through January 31st. Does anyone know if you will be able to download both and burn them to disk or USB and install them later? I know you will be able to burn Windows 8 to disk but not sure about MC.

I have some reservations about Win 8 but getting it via download for $40 is tempting to try it out. It may be more clear after downloads are actually available but I'm in the midst of upgrading one rig and have toyed with the idea of loading 8 to give it a go on my secondary machine.

Windows Media Center is being given out as a freebie to people who upgrade to Win8 Pro for the next couple of months. It's an Anytime Upgrade (or whatever MS calls the Win8 iteration of that program) so it's not something you download. It's something you input a key to unlock. So there isn't anything to burn to a disc.

I have one of the $14.99 upgrades available from my sons laptop so I was going to DL it when available, but not install it but want WMC and want to get it during the promo period so that it is free rather than a paid add-on after January 31. So would WMC then just be tied to your DL and you could add it at any time (even after the promo period ends) and not have to worry about being charged?
