Windows 8 Install Took Less than 5 Mins

I bought the Pro version a couple weeks ago for $39.99 and downloaded it to a USB key direct from Microsoft's site.

I decided to change my O/S drive from a Intel 320 80GB to a 256GB Vertex 4.

Couldn't believe it, Time from Booting off USB to Being at the Desktop for first time was less than 5 minutes easily, wish I had timed it. Most of my drivers were installed as well.

Impressed. I'm sure the Vertex 4 didn't hurt.

No real content here, just an observation.

Hmmm. I upgraded from Windows 7 and it took 1 hour and change.

but its not clean install.. so its gotta bring back all that I have.... thats why it took long long time ?
