windows 8 consumer preview on latitude d610

I have a customer's computer a latitude d610, that I am trying to get windows 8 to work on. I have got it all installed and it went off without a hitch, the system has 1.5gb ram so it has enough hardware specs to run it. the issue is, it will not load a sound driver? I have tried letting the windows update search and it can't find one either any better than it did on the initial install. Is there any way to manually do this? I hate to have to load xp back on...thanks!
