Just a heads up that Windows 8 has issues with NVidia's surround mode. The previous features of Windows 7 are no longer present, its now a significantly worse experience than Eyefinity and switching profiles. Previously in surround mode within windows the taskbar centered and the Windows maximised to an individual monitor. Full screen apps always took up all 3 monitors. This is no longer the case, windows maximise across the entire screen and the taskbar is stretched.
What I think is worse is that there is no way to have 3 monitors enabled AND have SLI working for even one of them. That is pretty poor in my opinion. Before surround was good enough but now none of the modes is an acceptable trade off for an SLI user.
