Windows 8 activation wierdness

Two weeks ago I installed Win 8 Pro using the upgrade disc. I opted to have the setup wipe the system drive and install not upgrade since my docs where on other drives. After setting up the system, drivers, apps ec ect. I ran the Win activation and confirmed it was activated from sys control panel. Now for the last three days, Win 8 prompts me for activation wants me to go to pc settings and activate windows then it seems to go away. The activation date in the control panel changes daily now. Anybody else experiencing this. I purchased the upgrade disc from Newegg so I doubt it’s pirated.
